YouTuber John Casterline has taken to his channel to post a rather bizarre discovery. He stated that when his name is searched on Google, the picture of fellow YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" pops up. Presumably, this may be down to some kind of search algorithm error. Speaking on the issue, he said:

"Can someone please tell me why when I look up my name on Google, the YouTube wiki page for me shows a picture of MrBeast? You know if it was three months ago, I would say I wish I was MrBeast. But right now I do not wish I was him. I don't even wanna know if I want to be mistaken for MrBeast."

Note: At the time of writing, MrBeast's image doesn't pop up when searching for the former's name on YouTube wiki. This indicates that the search algorithm may have fixed the error.

For those unaware, John Casterline (also known as h1t1) is a 20-year-old YouTuber and TikTok creator. At the time of writing (August 23, 2024), he has just over 5.69 million subscribers to his name on YouTube. Additionally, he has 3.5 million followers on TikTok.

Casterline rose to fame due to his short-form content and comedic skits. Mostly, he makes commentary videos on various topics such as controversies involving other content creators. His most-watched video on YouTube is My Experience With Bentellect (TikTok Creep) which has over 4 million views.

Why did John Casterline joke about not 'wanting' to be MrBeast?

After being mistakenly associated with MrBeast on Google searches, YouTuber John Casterline commented on the situation, jokingly stating that he doesn't want to be linked with Jimmy at this time.

For context, John Casterline made this comment in light of the ongoing controversy and allegations surrounding MrBeast over the past few months, which include accusations of faking videos and allegedly hiring a sexual offender.

These allegations have come from various sources. For example, one of MrBeast's former employees and current YouTuber DogPack404 has claimed that Jimmy fakes many of his videos using CGI and has accused him of hosting illegal giveaways and lotteries.

Another ex-employee and YouTuber named Jake Weddle has claimed that MrBeast didn't pay him money owed from a challenge video. This employee also accused MrBeast of hiring and protecting "Delaware," an ex-employee who's alleged to be a sex offender.

Jimmy has also faced criticism from participants in one of his upcoming projects, "Beast Games," which he's partnering with Amazon Prime for. A Las Vegas-based news outlet reportedly received complaints about people being dehydrated and denied medication during the shoot.

Before these recent allegations, Jimmy faced criticism for his association with Ava Kris Tyson, who was accused of grooming and promoting artworks involving CP. However, Ava was removed from MrBeast's team following the controversy.

Despite the ongoing drama over the past few months, MrBeast hasn't yet made any official responses to the allegations and controversies.
