Who is RobertIDK? YouTuber accused of pedophilia and "taking advantage" of a 15-year-old fan

Robert Geraldino aka RobertIDK is a Canadian YouTuber who is currently facing allegations of grooming and pedophilia. For those unaware, Robert is a 30-year-old creator, whose content mostly revolves around reaction videos typically involving animation or other comedic skits. At the time of writing, he has over 1.53 million subscribers.

Recently, X user @mindgame2004 posted a long thread alleging that the YouTuber had "preyed upon" and "taken advantage" of a 15-year-old (identity not disclosed).

What are the allegations against RobertIDK? Exploring the call-out posts

On July 29, 2024, X user @mindgame2004 shared multiple posts (including pictures, and screenshots) discussing how YouTuber RobertIDK allegedly engaged in misconduct with a minor in 2018. The post read:

"On July 17, 2018, he preyed upon, isolated, and proceeded to take advantage of a 15-year-old fan of his. he was 24 at this time."

The thread also featured a few screenshots from a text exchange, allegedly between RobertIDK and the victim. In one of the messages, he was seen commenting about "making out":

In a subsequent post (also showcasing a screenshot of the text exchanges), RobertIDK allegedly confessed to kissing the victim:

The X user also posted a picture of the YouTuber, alleging that he had sent it to the victim. Here's the selfie in question:

The X user (@mindgame2004) also wrote that they had first posted about this incident back in 2019 when it had caught RobertIDK's attention. The former alleged that the YouTuber had blamed them for ruining his mental health. The X user wrote:

"In 2019, I created a thread about exactly this. Robert then contacted the victim about it, blaming me and my thread for his poor mental state at that moment."

The X user included posts that RobertIDK had made on X (then Twitter) on July 17, 2018, which aligns with the timeline of messages that he sent to the victim. Robert's post showcases him attending the Crankthatfrank Show. The user wrote:

"Robert being out on July 17th, asking fans to “come on over and hang.” Robert being at the Crankthatfrank Show like he said he would. The timestamp on messages where Robert says that he’s excited to see the victim again."

RobertIDK has not yet responded to these allegations. His last post on X was on April 9, 2024. His most recent YouTube upload was on August 3, 2024, five days after the allegations resurfaced.

Grooming allegations have recently marred the YouTube community, with two big names being involved - Ava Kris Tyson and Guy "Dr DisRespect." Both were allegedly involved in inappropriate conversations and activities with minors.
