The WNBA Playoffs are set to begin Sunday after a hard-fought 40-game season for teams around the league. Action will begin with four best-of-three series before teams then shift to a best-of-five series for the semifinal matchups and the WNBA Finals.
This year's WNBA Playoffs will see the Las Vegas Aces look to become just the second team in WNBA history to three-peat as champions, however, there are a number of other contenders in the mix. For example, the New York Liberty finished the year with the best record, winning 32 of their 40 games.
In addition, the Minnesota Lynx also impressed, finishing the regular season with the best record in the Western Conference. At the same time, rookie standout Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are looking to make waves in what will be the team's first WNBA Playoff appearance since 2016.

#5: Indiana Fever
Caitlin Clark helped fuel the Indiana Fever to their first playoff berth since the 2016 WNBA season. The team finished the regular season with a 20-20 record that saw them finish the year with the sixth-best record in the league, setting the stage for a first-round meeting with the Connecticut Sun.
According to FanDuel, the team has +3,000 odds to win the WNBA Playoffs, putting them in fifth place among the eight teams in the postseason.
#4: Connecticut Sun
The Connecticut Sun finished the regular season with a 28-12 record, landing them in second place in the Eastern Conference and third place in the WNBA. As previously mentioned, the team will now collide with the Indiana Fever in the first round after getting the better of the Fever three times during the regular season.
Currently, on FanDuel, the team has the fourth-best odds to win the WNBA Playoffs at +750, putting it comfortably ahead of the Fever.
#3: Minnesota Lynx
The Minnesota Lynx finished the regular season with the best record in the Western Conference, winning 30 of their 40 games. At the same time, the team's play was enough to finish the year second in the WNBA, behind just the New York Liberty.
Ahead of its first-round series against the Phoenix Mercury, the team has +350 odds to win the WNBA Playoffs according to FanDuel.
#2: Las Vegas Aces
After going back-to-back in the WNBA Finals over the past two seasons, the Las Vegas Aces are eager to keep the momentum rolling in the postseason as they chase a three-peat.
The team finished the regular season with a 27-13 record that saw them end the year in fourth place leading up to their first-round matchup with the Seattle Storm. Currently, on FanDuel, the team sits in second place with +250 odds.
#1: New York Liberty
After coming up short in the 2023 WNBA Playoffs, the New York Liberty have been the most dominant team this year.
On FanDuel, they have the best odds to win it all this year at +125, leading up to their first-round meeting with the Atlanta Dream who finished eighth on the year.
