Allisha Gray is a professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard in the WNBA for the Atlanta Dream. She was born on January 12, 1995, in Greenwood, South Carolina, United States. During her high school career, she was a member of the Under 18 USA Basketball National Team. In the 2020 Summer Olympics, Gray was also a member of the USA Women's Basketball 3x3 National Team. In 2013, she chose to play for the North Carolina Tar Heels Women's Basketball team at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. In 2015, she announced that she would transfer from the University of North Carolina to the University of South Carolina. She then played for the South Carolina Gamecocks Women's Basketball Team where she won her first national championship in her first season.
Following her selection as the fourth overall pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2017 WNBA Draft, Gray began her professional career in the Wings. Her career-high points was on August 12, 2017, when she scored 21 points against Connecticut Sun. Gray was awarded the 2017 WNBA Rookie of the Year on September 19, 2017. She won the WNBA Three-Point Shootout Champion and the WNBA Skills Challenge Champion in 2024. She also competed in overseas basketball during the 2018 -2019 off-season with the Israeli team, Elitzur Ramla.
