During the Indiana Fever's loss to the Connecticut Sun on Monday, the Fever's star rookie Caitlin Clark appeared to ask for help from the sidelines when she allegedly said "come on, help me out" to the officials.

Reacting to the video, WNBA fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to roast Clark for allegedly seeking help from the officials during the 17-point loss.

"the attitude of a true olympian to some folk 😂😂😂," a fan tweeted.
"She used to get help from the refs in college. Sorry CC, Welcome to the bigs!" a fan tweeted.
"Notice how she didn’t deny that it was a foul she just didn’t want the ref to call it. Caitlin how bout you help yourself and learn how to defend without fouling so much just a thought 🤷 stop looking for hand outs," a fan tweeted.
"lord not you asking for help. You can’t make this shit up lmao !!!! 😂," a fan tweeted.

The Sun clinched an 89-72 victory on Sunday against the Fever to improve to a 10-1 record while the Fever slipped to 3-10 for the season. Caitlin Clark registered 10 points, two assists, and one steal in the loss as the Fever went 0-3 against the Sun this season.

"They woke a monster": Fever coach shares Caitlin Clark's response to not being included in USAB Olympic team

After Caitlin Clark was reportedly not included in the USA women's basketball team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides shared her reaction to the news with reporters during an interview at team practice on Sunday.

“Yeah, you know, a little disappointed of course. You know, she’s my player. That’s the hardest team in the world to make, right. That is a tough team. She’s young. She’s going to have so many opportunities in the future,” Sides said.

The coach also shared that Clark took the perceived snub as fuel to ignite her potential in the WNBA.

“Yeah, we talked actually on the bus. She got the call on the bus and she texted me to let me know, and I just tried to keep her spirits up. I mean, the thing she said was, ‘Hey coach, they woke a monster.’ Which I thought was awesome,” Sides said.

During the same practice session interview, Clark opened up about not being included in the Olympic roster. She took the high road and said that she was not disappointed with the news and that she would be rooting for the players to win the Olympic gold.
