Wintrust Arena will undoubtedly be buzzing on Saturday evening, when the Chicago Sky play host to Atlanta Dream. The Sky faithful will be in full voice after the enthralling 79-71 midweek victory against the Mystics.
The record between these two sides is pretty even and doesn't indicate of who might win this one. Dream’s recent form isn't anything to shout and scream about, losing three of their last five WNBA fixtures. However, they have squeezed in two wins against defending champions Aces and Mystics.
Sky, on the other hand, haven't hit the heights that have been expected of them, although they boast the same record as their Saturday's opponents, winning two games and losing three. Unfortunately, those wins have come against teams struggling during the opening stretch of the season.

Atlanta Dream vs. Chicago Sky: Head-to-head
Recent history doesn't make good reading for the Sky as Dream have won the last four encounters between the two sides - you would have to go back to late 2022 to find a time when Chicago came out on top.
Interestingly enough, the Sky do have the better record in the overall head-to-head record, winning 39 compared to Dream's 26 games out of 65 matchups played.
Atlanta Dream vs. Chicago Sky: Key clashes
Angel Reese vs. Allisha Gray
A constant in the Sky’s attacking lineup, Angel Reese has been at the heart of Teresa Weatherspoon’s Chicago side. The 22-year-old forward has already racked up three double-doubles this season. She is currently averaging an impressive 11.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
Her work will certainly be tested against Allisha Gray, who was Dream’s leading scorer in their last game against the Liberty with 16 points and 5 rebounds. It’s hard to see Gray coming out on top against Reese but fans will want to see more urgency from their player.
