Brittney Yvette Griner is an American professional basketball player who has been playing for Phoenix Mercury after being their first pick in the 2013 WNBA Draft as their power forward. Brittney Griner is 33 years old as of July 2024 and was born on October 18, 1990. During her college basketball career, she won the 2012 NCAA Champion and was also the MOP (Most Outstanding Player) of that championship. Additionally, she was the 2012 and 2013 Naismith College Player of the Year and the Wade Trophy Player of the Year both in 2012 and 2013.

She has achieved many milestones, including being the two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2014 and 2015, the WNBA Peak Performer two times in 2017 and 2019, the eight-time WNBA blocks leader from 2013 to 2019 and 2021, and the WNBA scoring champion two times in 2017 and 2019.
