Caitlin Clark's stats looked better against the Dallas Wings after her team Indiana Fever suffered two successive losses to the Las Vegas Aces.
The young guard didn't have a great performance against A'ja Wilson and company and tried to bounce back today against a struggling Wings squad.
Caitlin Clark scored five more points in the third quarter, but also focused on setting up her teammates, adding six assists to her account. She also recorded one steal while the Fever won the third quarter 27-24, setting everything for an entertaining fourth quarter.
The Caitlin Clark show continued in the fourth quarter. She added seven points to her account, setting a new season and career-high with 33 points. Despite Clark's heroics, the game stayed relatively close, with the Wings trying to take control of it again. She had a terrific partner in Kelsey Mitchell, who scored 30 points to try to help the Fever reach the promised land.
Clark added two points in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, taking her total production to 35 while grabbing three rebounds and dishing eight assists. She added three steals while turning the ball over five times.
After a couple of hard games against the Las Vegas Aces, Clark bounced back in a big way, taking the Fever over the .500 mark again with one game left on the schedule.

The first quarter of the game wasn't that pleasant for Clark, who made one of four field goal attempts, including one 3-pointer. She finished with three points while NaLyssa Smith scored six points and Aliyah Boston four for the Fever.
The ghosts of the prior games appeared to be haunting Clark again. She needs to show up again and lead the Fever to some wins in these final contests of the 2024 regular season.
The game changed for Clark in the second period, as she went from four points to 15, leading the Fever's comeback attempt after they lost the first quarter 34-26. Clark scored 15 of her team's 31 points in total.
