While appearing on the Jennifer Hudson Show along with her teammates, LA Sparks star rookie Cameron Brink recalled a hilarious incident with her godbrother Steph Curry during the 2024 WNBA Draft. Brink shared that she called Steph minutes before the draft and told him that she was afraid of falling while walking to the stage in her heels.

"But I remember face-timing him (Steph Curry) two minutes before the draft started and all I said was like 'I'm so afraid to fall on my face walking up the steps,'" Brink said.

Cameron Brink then highlighted that the heels she was wearing at the interview were the same she wore to the draft along with her all-black outfit. The Jimmy Choo Bing 100 heels Brink wore are listed at $967 on the brand's website.

Cameron Brink recalls growing up with Steph Curry

While featuring in Podcast P with Paul George, Cameron Brink shared early childhood memories of having Steph Curry as her godbrother. Brink described Curry's personality as always being full of laughter and positive energy.

Moreover, when asked about how the four-time NBA champion was as a kid, Brink said that he was pretty much the same person that he is now and also shared a childhood memory highlighting Steph's joyful personality.

"Honestly, he was very much the same like he is now," Brink said. "He's probably like one of the most consistent people I've ever known. There is this one story I remember that stands out.
"I was with Sydel in the pool in their North Carolina house and we were splashing water on him and he pretended to melt like the Wicked Witch of the West. He's kind of like a theater kid, he's very theatrical and silly. He's just always acting a fool and being silly so he's just a joy, he's just always so fun to be around."
