The two-time MVP, Candace Parker is a two-time WNBA Champion. The veteran forward is considered one of the best players in the history of the WNBA as she made the WNBA’s 20th and 25th Anniversary team. She holds the record for most defensive rebounds in a season (260) and free throws made in a season (201). As of August 2024, Parker holds three spots in the 10 leaderboard for most points scored and most blocks in a season.
In her NCAA career, Parker averaged 20.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game in 16 appearances at the national tournament. She also had five double-doubles to her name out of which two came in back-to-back National Semifinals. She won two consecutive NCAA Most Outstanding Players in (2007 and 2008) and made two NCAA All-tournament teams in (2007 and 2008) and three consecutive NCAA All-Region teams.
