Charisma Osborne is a combo guard playing for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA. She was selected as the 25th overall pick in the 3rd round of the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Osborne developed her basketball skills at Windward School in Los Angeles under coach Vanessa Nygaard. As a sophomore, she led her team to a Division I state title. Known for her quickness and strong defensive abilities, Osborne boasts a silky smooth offensive game. She uses her nifty maneuvers to get to the rim, finishing layups, and executing mid-range shots.

On the international stage, Osborne won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup, where she averaged 4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. She also competed for the senior national team at the 2023 FIBA Women's AmeriCup in Mexico, contributing 5.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and a team-high 3 assists per game, helping the team secure a silver medal.

Charisma Osborne college was University of California, Los Angeles from 2019 to 2024. Osborne committed to UCLA in 2019 and represented the UCLA Bruins in women’s collegiate basketball for five years. Charisma Osborne college major was in political science at the UCLA.

Charisma Osborne commenced her collegiate basketball career with the UCLA Bruins as a freshman in the 2019/20 season. She was notable for scoring her first triple double against the USC Trojans on February 26, 2021. For her efforts, she was declared as a member of the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team in 2020.

In her sophomore 2020/21 season, Charisma Osborne kept up with her impressive defensive and three point shooting skills. Therefore, after the season ended, she was honored as a member of the Pac-12 All Defensive Team and a member of the All-Pac 12 team in 2021.

As a junior in the 2021/22 season, Charisma Osborne led her team to the NCAA Tournament in 2022. She was notable for her career high 36 points in a win against the Oklahoma Sooners during the second round. She also became a member of the All-Pac 12 for the second time in 2022.

Her senior 2022/23 season saw Charisma Osborne become a third time member of the All-Pac-12 thanks to her skills. She returned to her college for a final year despite being a top-10 projected pick for the WNBA draft in 2023.

Over five seasons and 152 games with the UCLA Bruins, Charisma Osborne is averaging 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game. She is also shot 38.1% from the field, including 32.3% from deep.

Charisma Osborne High School Basketball Career

Charisma Osborne attended Windward School in Los Angeles and played varsity basketball for the Windward Wildcats. Osborne as a sophomore led the Wildcats to claim the Division I state title. In 2018, she led her team to the Open Division State Championship as a junior. For her efforts, she was honored with the title of California Mrs. Basketball in 2018.

Charisma Osborne became a McDonald’s All-American in 2019 as a senior. Furthermore, she was also declared as the Los Angeles Times Player of the Year for the third straight season. After her high school career, she committed to the University of California, Los Angeles.
