Cheryl Reeve is a basketball coach and administrator, who is currently associated with the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA. Reeve started her coaching career as an assistant coach at La Salle University. She then worked as an assistant coach at George Washington University and in the WNBA with teams such as Charlotte Sting and Detroit Shock. Reeve assumed the head coach position of the Minnesota Lynx in 2010 and turned the team into a dynasty. She has been a head coach of the Lynx since the year 2010 and under her leadership, the Lynx has won four WNBA championships in the years 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 and she has also been awarded the WNBA Coach of the Year award in the years 2011, 2016 and 2020.
Besides the Lynx success, Reeve has also been productive for USA Basketball. She has been an assistant coach of the national team, which won gold at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics and became the head coach in 2021. Reeve was also the head coach for the USA Women’s basketball team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they won the gold medal.

She broke the single-season assist record as a sophomore and led her team to an NCAA tournament. She also earned First Team All-MAAC and Second Team All-Big 5 accolade honors during her tenure in her senior year for leading her team to a 25-5 record, getting them into another NCAA Tournament.
