Born in Queens, New York, Cheyenne Parker was drafted as the fifth overall pick by the Chicago Sky in the 2015 WNBA Draft. Since being drafted, Parker played 166 matches for the Chicago Sky and decided to leave at the end of the 2020 season. She joined the Atlanta Dream as a free agent and has played over 100 matches for the franchise.

Parker suffered an injury against the Connecticut Sun in Dream’s second match after the Olympic break and was ruled out for the season. She played 25 matches and started 11 while averaging 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 2024 season.

Cheyenne Parker played college basketball for High Point and Middle Tennessee. She was dismissed for a failed drug test and was suspended for the 2013-14 season. After sitting out the entire season, Parker transferred to Middle Tennessee State University for her final year.

In her freshman year (2010-11), Parker averaged 7.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game, shooting 41.8% from the field. She was named to the Big South All-Freshman team. She ranked 11th in total points, first in total rebounds, sixth in steals, and first in blocks in the Big South Conference. She was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Year and made the All-Big South second team.

In her junior year (2012-13), Parker averaged 17.9 points, 13.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.3 steals and 4.4 blocks per game, shooting 49.1% from the field. She ranked third in total points, first in rebounds, seventh in steals, and first in blocks in the Big South Conference. She was named the 2012-13 Big South Defensive Player of the Year and made the All-Big South first team.

In her senior year (2014-15), Parker moved to the Middle Tennessee State University and dominated in her senior season. She averaged 18.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 4.0 blocks per game, shooting 58.8% from the field. She ranked 14th in total points, ninth in total rebounds, and first in blocks in the CUSA Conference.
