The Liberty have two players listed as questionable: forward Betnijah Laney-Hamilton and guard Sabrina Ionescu.

Laney-Hamilton hasn’t played since July 6 due to a right knee injury but is nearing a return. In her absence, forward Leonie Fiebich has seen increased playing time.

Laney-Hamilton is averaging 12.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.

Ionescu, though listed as questionable, is expected to return in the Connecticut Sun vs New York Liberty game. Liberty coach Sandy Brondello confirmed that Ionescu will be back for the next game.

Ionescu is having the best season of her career, with career-high averages of 19.9 points, 6.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. She’s shooting 42.6% from the field and 35.6% from beyond the arc.

In the last matchup on July 16, Ionescu led the Liberty with 30 points.
