The head coach of the Los Angeles Spark, Curt Miller is a two-time Coach of the Year (2017 and 2021). He has also won three Coach of the Month awards where he won two back-to-back in September 2021 and August 2021. He has managed 290 games in the regular season and 33 games in the playoffs with 179 wins and 144 losses in the WNBA.

Miller started his coaching journey in college by becoming an assistant coach for the Cleveland State basketball program in 1991. After being an assistant coach for close to a decade, Miller found his first head coach job with the Bowling Green Falcons Women’s basketball team in 2001. He won five conference regular season championships and five conference tournament championships, becoming the most successful coach in Bowling Green’s history. He also spent time with Team USA as an assistant coach at the 2024 FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament and various camps like the 2024 Women’s National Team Brooklyn Minicamp, Women’s National Team NCAA Tour and Training camp and 2022 Women’s National Team World Cup Training camp.

After a one-year stint with Los Angeles Spark as an assistant coach, Miller was appointed as the head coach for the Connecticut Sun in 2016. In seven seasons with the Suns, Miller led them to the 2019 and 2022 WNBA Finals. He has a record of 140 wins and 86 losses in the regular season with the Suns and a 16-17 record in the playoffs.

In 2023, Miller returned to the Los Angeles Sparks and was made the head coach. Since then he has a record of 23-41 with a rebuilding Spark as of August 12, 2024.
