The Dallas Wings and New York Liberty are set to face off again for the second time in three days on Thursday night. The Liberty dominated the Wings last Tuesday to get the easy 94-74 win. New York still has the best record in the WNBA, while Dallas currently sits at the No. 10 spot.
It's been a rough season for the Wings with a 6-21 record. They are 0-2 to start the second half of the season, losing to the Connecticut Sun last Friday. They are bolstered by the return of Satou Sabally, but they would need to string together wins to have a shot at the playoffs.
On the other hand, the Liberty are on a seven-game winning streak and have not tasted defeat since July 6 when they fell to the Indiana Fever. They are atop the WNBA standings and have a 3.5-game advantage over second-placed Connecticut.
