Dana Evans is a professional American basketball player who was born in Gary, Indiana, United States. She started her WNBA career with the Dallas Wings as a shooting guard, after being selected as the 13th overall pick in the 2021 WNBA draft. Evans played six games for the Dallas Wings before being traded to the Chicago Sky in the same season. Later that season, she won the WNBA championship with the Chicago Sky, securing her the spot on the WNBA All-Rookie team.
Dana Evans represented her country in the FIBA Americas Under-18 Women’s Championship and won a gold medal. She signed a contract with KSC Szekszard in 2022 to play in the Hungarian Women’s Basketball League. As of September 2024, Evans has played 140 regular season games, scoring 866 points, giving 283 assists, and grabbing 128 rebounds.
