Caitlin Clark has taken the WNBA by storm and her impact is one of the most widely debated topics around. While her impact on the court has been largely what was expected, many likely don’t know what she wants to accomplish off of it

Her popularity is at an all-time high. So much so that it has pushed even “The Onion,” a publication that uses satire to give certain events and spectacles a twist to release a falsified interview.

As per the hilarious events of the so called "interview", The Indiana Fever rookie sits down with the magazine to answer a few questions. In one of the hilarious questions, Caitlin Clark's answer is a straight-up laugh riot.

Q. What are your goals off the court?

“I’d like to be in an all-female version of Space Jam because I do not receive nearly enough death threats.”

There are multiple instances of the same, and the answers are sure to make readers chuckle, especially those who are familiar with the movie. Space Jam first came out in 1996 featuring NBA legends Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Muggsy Bogues, and others. The film’s theme song, R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly,” won the Best Song for Motion Picture or Television.

Although there may be some merit to the humorously falsified question. If there were to be a female version of the movie, it would most certainly star Caitlin Clark.

The Onion's barrage of fake answers continue as Caitlin Clark reveals “hopes”

Caitlin Clark’s fake interview with “The Onion” had a lot more questions. Most of which focused on what she does outside the court.

The Onion's fabricated question about her “hopes” as she plays her rookie year with the Indiana Fever, was written with a startling reply:

“It’s a long shot, but I’m hoping to k**l LeBron James.”

While the whole article seems to be a humourous take, we think this might irk LeBron fans. It might even illicit death threats from those who take the publication seriously. He is one of the few players who has more avid followers than Clark. And this answer, for those who fall prey to the internet's never-ending charade of fake news, will surely threaten Clark.

All in all, Clark’s fake interview with “The Onion” was a topsy-turvy one. It was dripping with satire and a dry sense of humor. Fans who will get to read the full exchange will likely have some fun with the irreverent back and forth.
