
Georgia Amoore is a professional basketball player for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA. The Mystics drafted Amoore as the sixth overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft. Georgia started her collegiate career with Virginia Tech in 2020 and moved to the Wildcats before the 2024-25 season started. Amoore ranked fourth among ACC players in assists during the season and started 23 of 25 games as a freshman, according to the Virginia Tech website. On February 15, 2021, she was named ACC Freshman of the Week. As a sophomore, she was in First Team All-Tournament (ACC) and received an Honorable Mention All-ACC.
