Haley Jones is a basketball player who plays for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA as of September 2024. She was born on May 23, 2001, in Santa Cruz, California, U.S. As a senior in high school, she played a McDonald's All-American game and was honored as the Naismith Prep Player of the Year for her outstanding performance at Archbishop Mitty High School. Jones played her college basketball at Stanford University from 2019 to 2023. In her sophomore year of college, she led her team to the NCAA championship, securing the national title for the first time since 1992. Her outstanding performance in the Final Four earned her the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award.

Jones was drafted sixth overall by the Atlanta Dream in the 2023 WNBA draft. In her rookie season, she played as a backup guard for Atlanta Dream and averaged 3.4 points per game. She represented the United States women's basketball team internationally, winning a gold medal with the team at the 2021 FIBA AmeriCup in Puerto Rico and another gold at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup in Belarus.
