Chelsea Nichelle Gray hails from Hayward, California in the United States, born on October 8, 1992. She is an American professional basketball player and a point guard for Las Vegas Aces. Gray was the eleventh pick by the Connecticut Sun in the 2014 WNBA Draft. Since turning pro, Gray has had an extensive overseas career. She played for Hapoel Rishon LeZion in 2015, Uni Girona in 2015, and Abdullah Gül Üniversitesi from 2015 to 2017. Gray also played for Botaş SK (2017–2018), Çukurova Basketbol in 2019, Fenerbahçe in 2020, and returned to Uni Girona in 2020-2021. In 2025, Gray also started playing in the Unrivaled 3x3 basketball league.
Gray and her team were the champions of the WNBA Championship in 2016, 2022, and 2023. She was the 2022 WNBA Finals MVP and the 2022 Commissioner’s Cup MVP. Gray won two gold medals representing the United States in the Summer Olympics Women’s Basketball Tournament and the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.
