In Pictures: Kysre Gondrezick ramps up Pilates workout in the gym as she attempts to make WNBA return

After being waived by the Chicago Sky earlier this season, Kysre Gondrezick is ramping up her efforts as she attempts to make her return to the league. The WNBA free agent took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a glimpse of her morning pilates session, which featured her putting in the work rocking a black athleisure fit.

"Morning pilates in my @athleta," Gondrezick captioned.

Kysre Gondrezick was selected fourth overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2021 WNBA Draft. She has been a free agent since the end of June after being waived by the Sky due to her inadequate performance.

Gondrezick had previously made her return to the WNBA in February after taking a two-year break. She was picked up by the Sky as a substitute player with a training camp contract of WNBA’s minimum salary of $64,164 per year. However, after playing just five games for the team, she was waived from the non-guaranteed contract.

Gondrezick only saw a total of 16 minutes of action before being waived by the Sky. In the five games she played, the 5-foot-7 guard averaged just 1.0 points, 0.4 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.8 steals per game.

However, this was not the first time she was waived by the Chicago Sky. Gondrezick had previously joined the Sky's training camp in 2022 after being released by the Indiana Fever following her rookie season. She couldn't make the Sky's final roster in 2022 and was waived by the team before she got another opportunity in 2024.

On her 27th birthday on Saturday, Kysre Gondrezick shared snippets of her birthday celebration along with other snaps of her recent vacation in Brazil with her alleged boyfriend, NBA Star Jaylen Brown.

Gondrezick's photos featured a snap of her on a boat with the views of Rio behind her, as well as the birthday gifts and flowers she received, which were likely from Brown.

"Leo season," Gondrezick captioned the post.

Kysre Gondrezick's rumored relationship with the Boston Celtics star was brought to light when she was first spotted supporting Jaylen Brown after the Celtics clinched the NBA championship.

They further put fuel to the rumors of their relationship when the two walked the red carpet at the ESPY Awards together early last month. However, neither of the basketball stars has publicly commented on their relationship yet.
