The Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream will square off for the third time this season on Monday. Indiana, which won 91-79 in the last meeting between the two teams, hopes to stay unbeaten against its opponent. Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell will again lead the Fever.
The Dream are winless against the Fever but could finally break through in front of what will be a record crowd in Georgia. Atlanta is playing its best basketball, going 3-1 since WNBA action resumed after the month-long Olympic break. The team’s only loss during that stretch was a heartbreaking 82-80 decision to the Phoenix Mercury on Friday.

Tina Charles vs. Aliyah Boston
In the first meeting between the Fever and the Dream, Tina Charles and her teammates had no answer for Aliyah Boston. The Indiana center racked up 27 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and one steal. She was the main reason the Fever won 91-84. Charles finished with two points and six rebounds.
Likely embarrassed by her lackluster showing, the 2012 WNBA MVP bounced back in the next meeting. Charles had 24 points, seven rebounds and two assists. She helped slow down Boston, who had 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Atlanta, however, lost again 91-79.
Tina Charles and Aliyah Boston are playing well heading into Monday’s battle. Fans will be excited to see the two centers square off again.
Allisha Gray vs. Caitlin Clark
As good as the Charles-Boston matchup will be, all eyes will likely be on Allisha Gray’s duel with Caitlin Clark. As both point guards have the lion’s share of ball possessions, they will likely have the limelight.
Gray has been solid and steady in two games against the Fever. She had 12 points, five rebounds and an assist in the first meeting. The two-time All-Star followed that performance with a 19-point, four-rebound and three-assist night.
Meanwhile, Clark has underwhelmed against the Dream. Indiana’s superstar rookie had seven points, six assists and seven turnovers in her first game versus Atlanta. Clark played a little better in the rematch, tallying 16 points, seven assists, four rebounds and seven turnovers.
Caitlin Clark, however, hasn’t played like that for months. Since the Olympic break, the All-Star guard is averaging 25 points, nine assists and five rebounds. Allisha Gray and the Dream defense will have to step up to slow her down.
