Jonquel Orthea Jones, born on 5 January 1994, in Freeport, Bahamas, is a professional basketball player for the New York Liberty in the WNBA. She began her basketball career at Riverdale Baptist School before moving on to play college basketball at Clemson University with the Tigers. After a year at Clemson, Jones transferred to George Washington University, where her performance on the court earned her significant recognition, including the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in the same year in 2015.
