Born on 30 April 2001, Kamilla Cardoso plays as a center for the Chicago Sky. She has developed into one of the prominent figures in the WNBA.

The 23-year-old towering center from Brazil played high school basketball at the Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she averaged 24.1 points, 15.8 rebounds, and an incredible 9.2 blocks per game. Due to her height of 6 ft 7 in, she always plays near the basket. She served as the center for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2021 to 2024 and won a championship in her sophomore year. Cardoso represented Brazil in the 2022 South American Championship and the 2023 FIBA AmeriCup and won gold in both of them. She was named MVP at the FIBA AmeriCup.

Currently, Cardoso plays as a starting center for Chicago Sky where she is becoming a star. Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese's frontcourt duo is a sight to behold as both of them will be the future of the Sky.
