Karlie Samuelson is an American-British professional basketball player, known for her 3-point sharpshooting skills. She plays as a shooting guard for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA and Çukurova Basketbol in Turkey's Women's Basketball Super League. Despite going undrafted in the 2017 WNBA Draft, Samuelson built a strong career both in the USA and internationally. Over the years, she has played in several countries, including Turkey, Australia, England, Belgium, Italy and Spain.
Samuelson represents the Great Britain women's national basketball team internationally, using her mother's nationality. She made her Team GB debut in February 2018 during the EuroBasket Women 2019 qualifiers, where she played a key role in helping Great Britain secure a spot in the tournament.

She was especially dominant in the NCAA Tournament, shooting 56.6% from three-point range over her junior and senior tournaments. Her career shooting percentages were remarkable: 45.4% from the field (368-of-811), 44.3% from three (249-of-562), and 83.3% from the line (179-of-215).
