The three-time WNBA All-Star, Kelsey Plum is a two-time WNBA champion, winning the title in 2022 and 2023 with the Las Vegas Aces. She is known for her elite ball handling and high IQ offensive plays. She won her first 5x5 Olympics gold medal with the Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She has previously represented Team USA at 3x3 at the Tokyo Olympics and won the gold medal. The Aces' star guard, Plum has also won two FIBA World Cups with Team USA. Kelsey Plum played college basketball for the Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 Conference from 2014 to 2017. In her freshman year, Plum averaged 20.9 points and 1.0 steals per game, shooting 36.7% from the three-point line on 6.5 attempts per game. She led the team in scoring and made the All-Pac 12 team, was a Pac-12 freshman, and was named the Pac-12 Rookie of the Year.

After coming off a successful individual season, Plum raised her game in her sophomore year and led the Washington Huskies to their first NCAA Tournament after eight years of wait. She averaged 22.6 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, shooting 39.9% from the three-point line on 5.2 attempts per game. Her offense had the Huskies ranked 25th for points scored per game amongst more than 300 basketball programs. She made the All-Pac 12 team and led the conference in scoring and finished sixth in three-pointers made (69).

In her junior year, she led the Huskies to their first-ever National Semifinal appearance in college history. She put on great performances one after the other, scoring 32 points against fifth-seed Maryland in a round of 32 matchups. She then proceeded to demolish the 12th-seed Kentucky in their sweet-16 matchup, recording 23 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and two steals. She averaged 25.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.6 steals per game, and had a 3-point shooting percentage of 33.3%.

Kelsey Plum had a historical senior year with the Huskies on the individual level. The Huskie guard broke the record for most points scored (1109) in a single season in women’s college basketball. She averaged 31.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, shooting a historic 42.3% from the deep on 7.7 attempts per game. She ended her college career as the leading scorer in NCAA Division 1 women’s basketball history, recording 3527 points at an average of 25.4 points per game over 139 games. The record was later broken by Caitlin Clark of Iowa University.

Kelsey Plum played for La Jolla Country Day in California. She was named on the McDonald's All-American game and WBCA High-School All-American team in 2013. Scoring 2247 points at 19.9 points per game, Plum led the team to four section titles and the 2012 CIF Division IV state championship. She was a five-star rated recruit coming out of high school.

Kelsey Plum was selected as the first overall pick by the Las Vegas Aces in the 2017 WNBA Draft. She is a two-time WNBA champion with the Las Vegas Aces. She averaged 9.5 points in her second year, shooting 43.9% from the three-point line, and was top-5 in most improved player voting.

Plum won the Sixth Player of the Year award and was a runner-up in the Most Improved Player category in 2021, averaging 14.8 points and 3.6 assists coming off the bench.
