The Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun continue their semifinal matchup with Game 4 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Sunday. The Lynx are trying to end the series and move to the WNBA Finals, while the Sun will look to force a do-or-die Game 5 in Minnesota.

Napheesa Collier had a brilliant Game 3, leading the Lynx with 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Collier was simply unstoppable as Minnesota took an early lead and never looked back. Courtney Williams added 16 points and eight assists, while Kayla McBride scored 13 points.

Meanwhile, Brionna Jones had a team-high 21 points plus four rebounds and five assists. The starters combined for 77 points, with Veronica Burton as the only player to score off the bench. Connecticut needs more from their bench corps if they want to stay alive and force a Game 5.

Minnesota Lynx vs Connecticut Sun preview

The semifinal series matchup between the Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun started with a shocking road win by the Sun. The Lynx have seemingly made the right adjustments in Games 2 and 3, making Marina Mabrey and DiJonai Carrington work for their points.

Napheesa Collier did have a bad performance in Game 2, but her teammates lifted the team to tie the series. Collier bounced back the next game, and the Lynx are in the driver's seat and could eliminate Connecticut on Sunday. If not, Game 5 will be back at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Minnesota Lynx vs Connecticut Sun prediction

The Sun are the slight favorites to beat the Lynx on Sunday and force Game 5 back in Minnesota. However, Connecticut will need more contributions from its bench to make it happen. The team also needs Marina Mabrey and DiJonai Carrington to come out of their slump, while Alyssa Thomas might have to take more shots.

Nevertheless, Game 4 could end up being a close game, with Minnesota pulling off the win to advance to the 2024 WNBA Finals.
