She was a top-30 recruit right out of high school and went to Santiago High School in Corona, California, U.S. She was selected with the 15th pick in the second round of the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Atlanta Dream and played for the team from 2018 to 2023. On February 2, 2024, she signed with the Los Angeles Sparks but was later waived. On August 25, 2024, she signed a Rest-of-Season contract with the Phoenix Mercury after being released by the Dallas Wings.

Billings played for the UCLA Bruins women's basketball team from 2014 to 2018. She was selected to the All-Pac-12 Team twice, in 2017 and 2018, and earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team. Additionally, she has played in several overseas leagues, including in South Korea and Russia.
