Coco Gauff was one of the many stars reacting to A'ja Wilson's latest style statement post on Instagram. The Las Vegas Aces superstar rocked a brown top and a matching cap with copious doses of swagger to go with it and gushing over it was $34,400,000-worth Gauff who had wholesome responses to the 3x WNBA MVP.
Here's a look at Wilson's post:
Gauff's comments read:
"Slaying on and off the court period!"
"finnneee"
Wilson also showed off her cheeky side by quoting a fun line from Sofia 'Vergara's Madea Goes to Jail (2009)' with her posts ending with the meme. The Aces superstar has been a lot more active on social media as he spends her downtime recovering and prepping for the 2025 WNBA season. As for fans, there's no dearth of them, including Gauff.
A'ja Wilson inks mammoth six-year deal with Nike
A'ja Wilson is all set to ink a six-year contract with Nike making it one of the richest shoe deals for a women's basketball player. Per ESPN, this news comes after she was named to Nike's roster of elite and signature athletes and announced the launch of her series of sneakers, 'A'One' set to release in Spring 2025.
Wilson's deal is now among the highest-paid shoe deals in the sport alongside Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark, New York Liberty's Sabrina Ionescu, and USC star JuJu Watkins. Clark has earlier inked an eight-year contract with Nike tallying well over $20 million that included potential bonuses with the brand. Watkins had a multi-year extension while Ionescu debuted her second shoe this spring.
On the season front, A'ja Wilson is coming off a record-breaking 2024 season as she became the first player to notch up 1,000 points in a single season (1,021). She led the Aces for a semis run and also won her second Olympic gold this summer with Team USA at the Paris Olympics. Now, all eyes will be on her 2025 season to see if she can lead the Aces to another title.
