Caitlin Clark surprised the world when she attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Houston Texans on Saturday. The defending back-to-back Super Bowl champions took on a team that didn't pose a big threat to them, with Clark watching them dominate from the VIP suite with Taylor Swift.
After she went viral over her interactions with the global artist, many had something to say about it. On Thursday's episode of "A Touch More with Sue Bird & Megan Rapinoe," the four-time WNBA champion predicted that Clark's newfound relationship with Swift could prompt the artist to watch one of her games alongside her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
"Yeah, I have zero doubt," Bird said when asked whether she thought Swift would attend one of Clark's games. "I totally, without a doubt believe Taylor and Travis will be coming through to a Fever game. I think there's a mutual respect." (0:40 onwards)
Taylor Swift looked very comfortable around Caitlin Clark, who has been a huge fan of the singer for a long time. After watching the videos of their interactions, they clicked, and perhaps, as Megan Rapinoe said, they made agreements to have the multiple-time award winner singer attend one of Clark's matchups.
Caitlin Clark attended Taylor Swift's concerts in Indiana
Before meeting the singer she admires, Caitlin Clark watched Taylor Swift performed live. In November, the WNBA star attended the first two nights of Swift's The Eras Tour concert at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Indianapolis Colts play their home games.
She shared an Instagram story to show her view inside the venue while adding a two-word reaction to watching the artist perform for a second straight night.
"So back," Clark wrote.
More than that, she was spotted exchanging friendship bracelets with other Swifties during the show, confirming that she's a real fan.
Added to the fact that she was a guest host on Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast "New Heights," it shouldn't be hard to imagine that Swift and her boyfriend will try to watch Clark when the WNBA starts in May.
Eventually, Clark and Swift's attending the game brought luck to the Chiefs, who easily beat the struggling Texans 23-14 at Arrowhead Stadium. They host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday for the AFC Championship game.
It's unclear if Caitlin Clark will be in attendance again, but considering Swift's relationship with Kelce, nothing should prevent her from going to the duel.
