On Monday, A'ja Wilson, a member of the Las Vegas Aces, debuted her red hair on Instagram. While not busy playing basketball, Wilson had a moment of self-care and got glammed up.
"SLAYED my braids," Wilson posted on her IG story.
"We love a red head."
The WNBA player announced a partnership with Google Pixel as well.
"You said it not me, Gemini 🤭 So excited to join @teampixel!! 🤍✨," Wilson posted.
A'ja Wilson reacts to Kate Martin getting drafted by the WNBA's expansion team
Kate Martin was lost by the Aces in the Golden State Valkyries' expansion draft. After hearing the news, the rest of the team took to social media to react to the selection. A'ja Wilson used the social media platform "Threads" to talk about the Aces' loss of Martin.
“Y’all wanted this expansion sooooooooo bad,” Wilson posted. “NOW LOOK ….MY BABY ROOK GONE……”
In her rookie season, Martin played 34 games, averaging 2.6 points and 1.6 assists. She shot 35.5% from beyond the arc.
She developed a bond with her teammates, and for her 24th birthday, the Aces pulled a prank on her by pretending the team bus left her behind.

Wilson averaged a double-double for the first time in her career with 26.9 points (career high), 11.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Las Vegas finished 27-13 in second place in the Western Conference. While Wilson received her third MVP award, the team was unable to capture the championship for the third consecutive year.
