While A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces' hopes for a three-peat may have been crushed by the New York Liberty, Wilson was named to the All-WNBA First Team this week for the third straight year. The Aces broke the news on Wednesday with a post on Instagram showcasing Wilson's highlights.

The 2024 WNBA season saw Wilson lead the league in points, rebounds and blocks, while she also earned her third MVP award thanks to her stellar performances.

The now three-time MVP cemented her place as one of the best players in WNBA history.

Wilson reacted to the news with a post on her Instagram story, where she shared a three-word response to being on the All-WNBA First Team for the fourth time, and the third straight season:

Looking further at the recently announced All-WNBA teams ft. A'ja Wilson

Prior to the WNBA announcing the All-WNBA teams this week, the league announced the All-WNBA defensive teams, as well as the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year award.

Minnesota Lynx standout Napheesa Collier, who is currently battling it out for a WNBA title, won the league's Defensive Player of the Year award, beating out A'ja Wilson, who also earned a spot on the All-Defensive First Team.

In addition, DiJonai Carrington of the Connecticut Sun, Ezi Magbegor of the Seattle Storm, and Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty were also named to the All-Defensive First Team.

WNBA All-Defensive First Team:

Now, the only thing left is for the WNBA to crown a champion, and Finals MVP after the Liberty and the Lynx battle it out in the finals.
