WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson was among the fans stunned by Ja Morant's poster on Victor Wembanyama during Wednesday's clash between the Grizzlies and Spurs. The play occurred during the fourth quarter, with Memphis up 122-111.

Morant drove to the rim with Wembanyama right under the hoop, setting the stage for an ultimate showdown between the uber-athletic star point guard and the 7-foot-3 shot-blocking machine.

Morant eventually came out on top. However, the play didn't count as Stephon Castle fouled Morant on the floor, and the refs had already blown the whistle. Wembanyama rose a fraction late after seeing Morant approach and barely missed the block.

Despite the unofficial status of that poster, A'ja Wilson, like many others, couldn't help but hype the incredible play. She took to Instagram to express herself with a one-word reaction, saying:

"Relax!!"

Wilson and Morant hail from South Carolina and often show each other appreciation for their on-court success. In September, Morant congratulated Wilson for scoring 1000 points in a season, a one-of-one record in the WNBA, calling her 'family.'

A'ja Wilson disagrees with Shaquille O'Neal on WNBA lowering rims for players to dunk

While A'ja Wilson enjoys Ja Morant's high-flying plays during her offseason, she isn't a fan of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal's bold proposal that could have helped her produce such posters. O'Neal suggested that the WNBA should consider lowering the rims so that all players could have a fair shot at dunking.

He also had revenue and player salaries on his mind while making that pitch, claiming it would help the league grow even more because that's what the public wants to see.

However, Wilson believes the move wouldn't help the players with their skill set as they would spend their offseason working on altering their shot mechanics to match the new rim level. Here's what the Aces star said on Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart's podcast in November:

"I would much rather just gear my offseason to 'Okay, verti[cal] maxing it out, let's focus on this jumping.'
"Versus lowering it an inch? That could change all of our shots. Do y'all not understand that?"

A'ja Wilson made a fair point. Players have been used to the rim length for years, and suddenly changing it would significantly hinder the game. The league is also growing regardless of the 'women can't dunk' theory, so it's not what the WNBA might need right now.
