Over the last six years, A'ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum have developed a special relationship. On the court, the two share a chemistry that has propelled the Las Vegas Aces up the WNBA ladder. Off the court, they continue to heap praise on each other for their hard-working attitude and amiable personalities.

After a slender 72-67 win over Connecticut Sun on Friday, Plum lauded her teammate for a sensational second-half performance. The Aces guard spoke about the center's outstanding season and her conduct and personality off the court.

"She's just a light. Just the type of human being she is. Y'all, we really need to cherish what's happening live. I mean, unanimous MVP, but unanimous MVP as a human being," Plum said in her postgame interview.

A'ja Wilson returned the favor with a more succinct but equally wholesome reaction. On her latest Instagram story, Wilson shared a post with the original quote and an image of the two teammates and wrote:

It has been a rollercoaster year for the Las Vegas Aces. After a strong start to the season, Becky Hammon's side lost five out of seven games between July 17 and Aug. 28. They have now steadied the ship with four straight wins and are currently fourth in the standings with a 22-12 record.

The Aces have one of the most loaded rosters in the league with star talent like A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray.

The Aces defeated the Connecticut Sun 3-1 in the 2022 WNBA finals. They followed that up with an impressive 3-1 win over the New York Liberty in 2023. The team has clinched a playoff spot and are now aiming for a historic third consecutive championship.
