A'ja Wilson reacts in 3 words to Coco Gauff's new look

A'ja Wilson was one of the responders to the latest Instagram post by tennis star Coco Gauff on December 15. The 2023 US Open champion posted a series of pictures on her Instagram, rocking a new hairstyle and teasing her fans with a possible partner reveal picture at the end.

In her Instagram pictures, the tennis star can be seen wearing a printed jacket, matched with a pair of beige trousers. She was also rocking a new bohemian curly haircut.

A'ja Wilson was one of the many people who flooded the comment section. While Gauff's fans loved her new look, Wilson was particularly impressed by the white nail polish that Gauff wore in the picture.

"We love itttt 💅🤍," Wilson wrote in the caption.

This year was great for Coco Gauff on the tennis court. She ended the season with the WTA championship title and won $4,805,000 in just one week in Riyadh.

On the other hand, for A'ja Wilson, the 2024 season didn't go as planned. Although it was arguably the best year of her WNBA career individually, Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces were ousted by the New York Liberty in the Conference finals.

Coco Gauff took inspiration from A'ja Wilson to stay motivated

A'ja Wilson and the Aces failed to reach the 2024 WNBA Finals after back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023.

However, in October this year, when Coco Gauff won the China Open, she revealed that she took inspiration from Wilson to make peace with the loss and stay motivated.

According to The Mirror, Gauff said that she learned from Wilson that winning all the time is difficult, but it also helps people to evolve.

"People don't realize people have great moments in sports and bad moments. It doesn't mean anything," Gauff said. "I took inspiration from A'ja Wilson. Back-to-back champions. People wanted them to three-peat. She's kind of like, 'It's hard to stay winning all the time.'"

"You need to go through losses to realize what you need to do to evolve. Tennis fans need to be more accepting of that."

After losing the semifinals to the New York Liberty, Wilson said in the post-game interview that a three-peat was hard.

However, she also added that the Aces took away a big lesson from the loss and would execute that during the offseason.
