WNBA legend Lisa Leslie made her feelings clear about Jordan Chiles's incredible showing at the final session of the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad in Oklahoma City. ESPN's Instagram handle posted a video of Chiles on their account and Leslie expressed her thoughts in the comments section.
"A Perfect 10❤️❤️❤️❤️" Leslie commented.
In the video, the gymnast is seen performing her set with the rockstar and pop-culture sensation Prince's music playing in the background. The Olympian scored a 9.975 for her routine.
After delivering a brilliant performance, Chiles dedicated the win to the people of Los Angeles and offered her support to everyone affected by the wildfires.
"To every single person in LA, we love you guys. Thank you guys so much for supporting us," Chiles said. "We want to support you in every way, shape or form. We’re praying, we love you guys.”
Jordan Chiles found herself in the headlines after the 2024 Paris Olympics. The UCLA gymnast made her country proud and was initially awarded a bronze medal in the women's floor exercise event. However, her medal was reallocated to Romanian gymnast Ana Bărbosu based on an appeal by the Romanian federation which challenged the revision of Chiles's final score in the event.
