Aliyah Boston is regarded as one of the best young talents in the WNBA today, with incredible upside to her game. Off the court, Boston is in a relationship with Portland State Vikings center Tre-Vaughn Minott. He was crowned the top scorer on his team's combat US Army fitness test in the final week of summer practices.
The Portland State Vikings' Instagram account compiled various moments from the competition and uploaded the video on the platform. By the end of the video, Minott was awarded his trophy for being the victor and received a resounding amount of applause from his teammates.
"The highest scorer on the team on the @usarmy Combat Fitness Test? The Canadian."
Last season, he put up 1.0 points (33.3% shooting) and 1.4 rebounds per game. It was his first season with the team after he played three seasons with the South Carolina Gamecocks.

During an interview with The State's Michael Lananna, Aliyah Boston's boyfriend spoke highly of the Indiana Fever forward and how she has set the standard to follow.
"I love that girl," Minott said. "She's such a big factor in my life. She teaches me just so much. She opens my eyes to a lot of things, and she's just a great person. I couldn't ask for anyone else to be with. She's perfect."
The duo first met on the campus of USC and Minott revealed that their first conversation involved a joke and the two couldn't help but feel a spark between them.
They have remained steady to this day ever since.

It was a thrilling Game 2 showcase between the Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Sun (WNBA playoff 2024). Despite a strong fourth quarter from the young squad, their efforts ended up coming short as Connecticut won the game 87-81.
Following the matchup, Boston acknowledged the painful feeling of losing a playoff game after a promising regular season. However, the young forward claimed that the best is yet to come.
"Obviously you never want to lose," Boston said, "and especially right now with the chance to go home and get one more game, it truly sucks. But just being able to get a taste of this playoff feeling, I mean, they're a veteran squad. ... looking how far we've come from the start of the season to now, I'm just super proud of our group ...
"Because I think we had such a special 12, and I just can't wait to see what the future holds," Boston added.
Despite starting the WNBA season 1-8, Indiana was able to turn things around and finish as the sixth seed. Aliyah Boston dropped a double-double performance of 16 points (58.3% shooting) and 19 rebounds in the Game 2 loss to the Sun.
