Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve praises Caitlin Clark for an outstanding rookie effort. The first-year sensation has taken the WNBA by storm, leading the Indiana Fever to its first postseason berth since 2016.

In a Friday interview with Khristina Williams, Reeve spoke highly of Clark. The veteran sideline leader explained what makes her a special player.

"What I think makes her special, I know everyone will talk about the logo threes, and you know, Steph Curry did that for the NBA, right? Think about his popularity, because his ability was this little guy slightly built, run around splashing 3s everywhere, right? It's exciting.
"But just sort of understanding the physicality of the pro game and likely the FIBA game; when she gets in that space, she will be very targeted towards. I believe growing her physical strength, and her ability to exist in spaces against bigger, stronger athletes than what she faced in college," Reeve said.

To close, she predicted how far Clark would go in her professional career.

"Future Hall of Famer. And has had a great impact on the game already."

Cheryl Reeve changed her tone about Caitlin Clark as the season progressed

Before showering the Indiana Fever rookie with praise, Cheryl Reeve seemed uninterested in the hype surrounding Clark. In July, before a duel at Target Center against the Fever, Reeve made it clear she didn't care about the crowd gathering to see Clark perform.

"I don't give two sh*ts," Reeve exclaimed. "Not even one sh*t."

When the WNBA resumed play after the Olympic break finished and Clark took over the league, Reeve changed her mind about the No. 1 overall pick, noting Caitlin's exceptional traits.

During her interview with Williams, she noted that Clark is great from distance, but that's not the only thing she does well on the court. The six-time WNBA champ stated there's much more to her game than shooting ability. Reeve also pointed out how Clark can develop an even more complete skill set.

After 35 games, Caitlin Clark is averaging 19 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game, shooting 42.3% from the floor, 34.9% from deep and 90.3% from the free-throw line.
