It was Aliyah Boston's turn to play the role of hero for the red-hot Indiana Fever on Sunday night. Indiana showed off their resiliance and toughness in a closely contested 104-100 overtime win against the Atlanta Dream. Boston was spectacular on the night. The Fever center was dominant in the post and provided some clutch baskets in the final strech.

After an impressive comeback win, Boston spoke about team's fast-pace style of play and the talent they have on this roster. With the WNBA playoffs a couple of weeks away, she issued a warning to the rest of the league.

"We know we're very capable of beating any single team because of the way we play, the pace that we play at and just weapons that we have all around the floor."

The Fever trailed by 15 points in the third quarter but a stong shooting display from Boston, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell saw them battle back to send the game into overtime. Boston came through with some clutch field goals in overtime to secure the Fever's 19th win of the year.

"I'm really proud of us today...even if we are down, no matter what time of the game it is, we are very capable of coming back," added Boston.

Boston finished with a career-high 30 points and recorded 13 rebounds and 5 assists in what was arguably her best game as a professional.

After a difficult start to the year, Indiana has turned things around. Christie Sides's team struggled early on and had a dismal 1-8 record to open the season. Since June 1st, they have an 18-9 record.

After an impressive collegiate career at South Carolina, the Indiana Fever drafted Aliyah Boston with the first overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft. The decision has paid off for a franchise that had missed out on the playoffs for seven straight seasons.

Boston made an instant impact for the Fever last season, averaging 14.5 points and 8.4 rebounds. She was named to the All-Star team and awarded the Rookie of the Year award.

Clark and Mitchell have received most of the plaudits over the course of the season but Boston has been a key figure for this Fever side. The 22-year-old is averaging 14.3 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists over the course of the season.

Playing alongside one of the game's best passers in Caitlin Clark has allowed Aliyah Boston to shine and show off her dynamic skillset. Led by a talented young core, it will be interesting to see how far this Fever team can go in the playoffs.
