Dana Evans tweets lesson learned after Sky's season end
Following the Chicago Sky's loss on Thursday, which marked the end of their season, Dana Evans shared the lesson she learned in the season that challenged her mental health. Evans shared a reflection on the season and noted the experience was a part of her journey in a post on X.
"God makes NO mistakes. My mental was challenged more than ever & Ik this was just another bump in the road. He’s brought me too far to leave me now. So thankful for the people in my corner through this rollercoaster. Sometimes you have to go through the worst, to get to the best 😉," Evans wrote.
Dana Evans is coming off a turbulent season with the Chicago Sky after being dropped as a starter mid-season, allegedly after she requested a trade. Her request was declined by the team, following which her agent alleged that she was being punished with reduced playtime.
However, the Sky guard remains determined to return next season with the mental experience she gained from the 2024 campaign.
