Alyssa Thomas turning heads at Ravens game draws love from fiancee DeWanna Bonner and sister

Connecticut Sun forward and former Maryland Terrapins star Alyssa Thomas was spotted at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday for the blockbuster NFL matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens. The WNBA star turned heads in a purple Ravens jersey and the Olympic gold medal she won with Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Thomas' fiancée, DeWanna Bonner, who also plays for the Connecticut Sun, shared a pic of her on the field on her Instagram story and showed some love to her partner with a supportive message. Bonner added a crown emoji to go with the memorable pic.

The image also received a reaction from Alyssa's sister, Lexi, who was also at the game. Lexi Thomas posted the same pic along with two star-eyed emojis.

Alyssa Thomas is coming off an exceptional year where she was named to the All-Star team and the All-WNBA first team. The talented forward also guided the Sun to the semifinals. However, the highlight of Thomas' year was likely her winning a gold medal for her country at the Paris Olympics.

Thomas and her teammate DeWanna Bonner have been together since 2020 and were officially engaged in July 2023.

Thomas may have been born and raised in Pennsylvania but attended the University of Maryland. The five-time All-Star wasn't going to miss a chance to see the Ravens take on the Eagles in one of the most anticipated games of the NFL season.

Thomas would have been disappointed to see Baltimore lose 24-19 on the night, but the Ravens remain one of the favorites in the AFC to make the playoffs for a third straight season.

Alyssa Thomas was a star athlete at the University of Maryland before making the jump up to the pros in 2014. She spent four years under legendary coach Brenda Frese and was a dominant player during her time at the school.

Thomas was rewarded for her contributions to the program by being inducted into the University of Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame in October. After the announcement, her partner, DeWanna Bonner, shared a supportive post on Instagram.
