After the Connecticut Sun's player shared four selfies on social media, the rookie shared a message of admiration.
"face cardddd😫😍," Reese quote-tweeted Carrington's post.
This isn't the first time Reese and Carrington have interacted on social media.
After a season in which she became a more consistent player and delivered on both ends of the field, Carrington received 28 of 67 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters to win the 2024 WNBA Most Improved Player of the Year award.
Carrington took to X/Twitter to celebrate this achievement with a short message.
"click it or ticket, babes 🩷"
Angel Reese was happy for the guard/forward and sent a four-word message to congratulate her.
""so proud of you💋."

She shot 39.1% from the floor and 73.6% from the free-throw line for a Chicago Sky team that lost the No. 8 seed in the standings in the final week of the regular season.
Angel Reese, DiJonai Carrington will enter 2025 WNBA season under similar circumstances
Angel Reese and DiJonai Carrington share more than a supposed friendship. Both players will play under new coaches next season, as they try to get closer to an WNBA championship.
Teresa Weatherspoon was dismissed after only one season in Chicago and a 13-27 record. Tyler Marsh is taking over from her. As for the Sun, they parted ways with Stephanie White, who joined the Indiana Fever after leading Connecticut to Game 5 of their second-round series.
The Sun's new head coach is yet to be announced at this moment.
