Angel Reese admits to exhaustion on keeping love life private: "Don't like the pressure"

Being a WNBA star like Angel Reese means being in the spotlight. In the era of social media, where fans have cameras on them at all times, it's become increasingly hard for celebrities to keep their personal lives private. In the past, this has led to rumors surrounding Reese's dating life after the Chicago Sky forward was seen in Lil Durk's Tesla cybertruck.

While the pair weren’t dating, the situation put Reese's personal life under a microscope and led to the WNBA standout shooting down rumors that the two were dating. Now, in an interview with Complex on Thursday, Reese has spoken about how it's exhausting to keep her dating life private.

While speaking with Complex's Speedy Morman, Reese has gone on the record saying that keeping her dating life private comes with pressure.

"I don't like when people attack the other person I've been in situations or relationships where I've gone to their comments and all I see is: 'Angel Reese, Angel Reese, Angel Reese, Angel Reese." [22:01]

"Like I want them to live their life and I want to live my life and then we can live our lives together and I don't like the pressure of dating me being on you. so that's why I keep it also private just to protect the other person as well."

Over the summer, speculation was running wild on social media that Reese was dating NBA standout Jalen Duren. The two both happened to post vacation photos at the same time, with fans believing that they were vacationing in the same place.

While Reese didn't address the situation directly in her interview with Complex, she spoke about how fans pry when trying to find details about her personal life:

"People always trying to find something like every time. It's exhausting, I think people just need to mind their business, let people love who they they want to love. Every time everybody always has something to say. They're never happy.

"So if you were to go date somebody they're still going to find some little thing that she did in 2016 that you should be worried about. And that's none of their business so like I said my private life is my private life. You'll never see me in a relationship publicly until I'm married."

From the sounds of things, fans hoping to find out more about Reese's love life will have to wait until the Sky star has a husband before she shares any details about her love life.
