Angel Reese is in the lab this offseason, looking to build on a historic WNBA rookie performance in 2024. The Rookie of the Year runner-up is working towards a massive leap in year two as the Chicago Sky eye a return to the playoffs next season.
On Sunday afternoon, Reese's trainer, David Alexander, shared a video of Reese's offseason progress.
"HER!," Alexander captioned his Instagram post.
The post caught the attention of Reese, who shared a reaction in the comments and reposted the video to her Instagram story.
"Let's do itttt," Reese posted in the comments.
" 🤧," Reese shared in an additional comment, jokingly in tears after a tough workout.
Alexander is a prominent trainer among professional athletes and works with other sports stars such as PGA Tour golfer Gary Woodland, Inter Miami FC star Leonardo Campana and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.
Reese's post of her offseason progress comes after an Instagram post featuring Reese with rapper Cardi B in a club in Miami.

Angel Reese has the potential to be a franchise-altering player for the Chicago Sky going forward. The All-Star forward is looking to become Chicago's focal point offensively after a solid season in her first year as a pro in 2024.
While Reese works hard at the gym, she also parties hard. On Friday night, videos surfaced of Reese dancing with rapper Cardi B in a club in Miami.
Angel Reese had a cameo appearance in Cardi B's music video for her song "Put It on Da Floor Again" back in 2023. She also got together at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in October.
In 2024, Reese broke numerous rookie records, including the single-season rebounding record. She also set the WNBA record for the most consecutive double-doubles with 15 in a row. Reese averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game on the season.
She has also committed to playing in the Unrivaled 3x3 league founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, joining the 36-player pool that makes up the league's six teams.
