Angel Reese compliments DeAndre Brown’s Chanel bag snap in 1 word

Angel Reese and internet star DeAndre Brown often mention each other on social media platforms. While the "corporate baddie" is making a name for himself with online content for the new generation, he impressed the WNBA star with his fashion.

On Friday, Brown posted a picture of himself in a white full-sleeve shirt with his top buttons unbuttoned, pairing it with a pair of dress shorts. Brown accessorized his outfit with a silver Chanel bag.

"Not average or typical," he wrote in the caption.

Angel Reese was clearly impressed with the overall look. She reposted the picture on her X account and gave a big compliment to the social media influencer.

"ate," she wrote.

Brown also replied to Reese on the post.

"Love u down!! ❤️," Brown wrote replied in the comments.

Since joining the WNBA, Angel Reese has risen among the biggest fashion influencers in the country. She was present at the Met Gala in May and the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in October.

Her social media presence has been bigger than any WNBA player, leaving even Caitlin Clark far behind. Reese has 4.6 million followers on Instagram and also has a successful podcast on YouTube.

The rivalry between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark was perhaps the biggest documented storyline of the 2024 WNBA season. While both players didn't leave a stone unturned in entertaining fans, they have frequently downplayed the "rivalry" tag.

In a conversation with Time Magazine earlier this month, Clark said that she still doesn't get the "rivalry" narrative. She also highlighted that they haven't gone against each other either on offense or on defense. Clark also added that people cared more about the controversy and that was the reason that they fabricated it.

"I don’t get that at all," Clark told TIME. "We’re not best friends, by any means, but we’re very respectful of one another. Yes, we have had tremendous battles. But when have I ever guarded her? And when has she guarded me?"

"The only thing people cared about was this controversy that was really fabricated and made up, and then that has continued to be the case ever since."

While Clark will have her other plans in January next year, Angel Reese will take the basketball court once again. She will participate in the inaugural "Unrivaled" league, which starts on January 17.

She will be part of the Rose Basketball Club in the league. Reese will team up with Clark's Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull, and Las Vegas Aces star Chelsea Gray. They will face Vinyl Basketball Club on the inaugural day, against stars like Arike Ogunbowale, Aliyah Boston and Dearica Hamby.
