Mississippi State guard Jerkaila Jordan named Rickea Jackson of the LA Sparks as the better trash talker than Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky. Jordan played against Jackson and Reese in college since all of their schools were part of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

In a video posted by Poster Hoops on Instagram on Tuesday, Jordan was asked about the trash talk she got from Jackson and Reese. She had them both as No. 1 before going with the Sparks star, whom she played with at MSU before Jackson's transfer to the University of Tennessee.

"Angel Reese of Rickea Jackson? Those are the two players I don't wanna go into a trash talking competition," Jordan said. "They don't stop, and not only that, but they'll score on you too, so you can't stop them. Once they score, they're in your ear talking and it's like, 'There's nothing you can do about it.'"

The MSU star added:

"If I had to pick No. 1, (Jackson) will be No. 1. Even when we used to play at practice when she was at (MSU), she'll talk. She doesn't care who you are. She'll talk trash to the players, the men's practice players, everybody. When she steps on the court, she doesn't care."

Jerkaila Jordan and Rickea Jackson were teammates for one year during the 2021-22 NCAA season. Jordan came in as a transfer player from Tulane, while Jackson was in her third season at MSU. She would move to Tennessee the next year, finishing her collegiate career with the Volunteers in April.

Jackson would get drafted fourth overall by the LA Sparks, with Angel Reese getting selected No. 7 by the Chicago Sky. Jackson and Reese had their battles in college and were two of the best rookies in the WNBA this season.

The WNBA announced its 2024 All-Rookie Team earlier this month headlined by Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark. The Indiana Fever star was joined by Angel Reese, Rickea Jackson, Leonie Fiebich and Kamilla Cardoso.

Reese and Cardoso were the first pair of teammates to be named to the All-Rookie Team since Dorka Juhasz and Diamond Miller last season. Jackson was the first LA Sparks rookie to get the honors since Ana Dabovic back in 2015. Fiebich was a vital part of the New York Liberty's championship run.

Out of the five rookies, Clark and Reese were the only two to get votes for Rookie of the Year. Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, leading the league in rebounds per game and double-doubles.

Jackson, on the other hand, averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists. She had a slow start to the season but found her groove midway through the campaign.
