Angel Reese hilariously called out her brother Julian Reese for his comment about her shooting hand. In a video posted on the social media handle "NBA Future Starts Now," Julian did a quick Q&A where he was asked about his sister.
In the video, Reese's baby brother claimed that the WNBA star shoots with her left hand even though she is essentially a right-handed person. Julian Reese also said the Chicago Sky star randomly switched to her left hand because she wanted to shoot like him.
Angel Reese seemed in disbelief watching her brother making the claim.
"My baby brotherrr💞😭 not you lying saying i switched hands cause i wanted to be like you stoppp itttt😭🤣," Reese hilariously wrote.
In another part of the video, Julian gave major props to his sister and her career in the WNBA. He said Reese taught herself to stay focused and never cheat the game.
Angel Reese and Julian Reese grew up in Baltimore and attended Saint Frances Academy. She committed to play for Maryland after high school, and her younger brother followed her to the university a year later. However, after two years at Maryland, Angel transferred to LSU.
Julian is an incoming senior at Maryland. He averaged 13.7 points and 9.5 rebounds last season for the Terps.
Angel Reese calls cap on brother saying he won more growing up
This is not the first time that Angel Reese tried to correct a statement from her brother. In October last year, Angel and Julian sat for an interview on the March Madness YouTube channel.
When Julian was asked who won more often between the two of them when they were growing up, Julian said he did. He added that his estimated record against his elder sister is about 100-20.
When Angel was asked about her brother's comments, she instantly called BS on him.
"100 to 20?! He’s out of his mind. He knows I have the better shoe, he buys expensive stuff though."
She later revealed that although she was the real troublemaker in the house, her brother used to get punished for her actions.
"I probably was the troublemaker because I would do it, and he would get in trouble for it," she said.
Based on these interactions, it seems clear that this brother-sister duo loves to mess with each other in fun and light-hearted ways.
