The older Ball brother first asked her who was her favorite player growing up.

"Women's or men's?" She first said before Ball said he meant women. "Probably Candace Parker."

Then, she revealed her Mt. Rushmore of players.

"No order probably, I'mma say Sheryl Swoopes, I'mma say Candace Parker; I'mma say Diana Taurasi... It's a lot of great players. I'mma say Lisa Leslie," Reese added. (19:27)

Those four players made history in the league and left a huge mark that nobody will ever erase. Sheryl Swoopes was a key member of arguably the most iconic team in league history, the four-time consecutive WNBA champions Houston Comets.

Candace Parker was another superstar in the league, winning both the Rookie of the Year and MVP award in the same season after leading the LA Sparks to a 20-14 register after posting a 10-24 record in the prior season.

Diana Taurasi has been one of the most successful players of all time while playing at a high level for 20 seasons, showing off remarkable longevity.

Lisa Leslie shared touches with Parker, but before that, she was one of the faces of the WNBA, leading the LA Sparks to several championships while winning MVP awards.

Angel Reese called Sheryl Swoopes "GOAT" a couple of months ago

Even though she didn't go into much detail about Sheryl Swoopes and named Candace Parker her favorite player growing up over the former player turned analyst, Angel Reese has shared her admiration for the four-time WNBA champion.

During a game against the Las Vegas Aces at the start of September, Reese linked up with Swoopes. They shared an emotional moment that Reese treasured. She even took to Instagram stories to recall the moment and added a touching message to describe her encounter with Swoopes.

"Tears, laughter and smiles with the GOAT today was much needed. Love you forever @airswoopes22," Reese wrote on a picture she shared on her Instagram story.

Swoopes also praised Angel Reese several times, even calling for her to be named the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year. They have a close relationship and the Sky forward doesn't hesitate to praise the legend.
