Reese played 34 games for her team this season and kept them in contention for the playoff spot. However, she had to exit the season after she fractured a bone in her wrist. According to a report by ESPN, she has gone through surgery and is recovering.
This season, Angel Reese made a strong case for the Rookie of the Year Award before she was injured. In 34 games, she averaged double-double, recording 13.6 ppg and 13.1 RPG.
